Here at Follow Your Paws, the maximum dogs walked in a group is four unless an individual walk is requested.

Yes, we can collect your dog from you, then return them after their walk. 

Yes, Follow Your Paws offer a free face to face meeting allowing you and your dog to meet us.

We know that sometimes things do not always go to plan, so we try and treat all customers in a fair and professional manner.

Payment & Cancellations:
Dog Walking/ Doggy day adventures.

Invoices will be issued either weekly or monthly depending on the arrangement with you and Follow your paws. Accepted methods of payment are cash or bank transfer.

All invoices state the date of which it needs to be paid, if your payment is not received by this date follow your paws is entitled to add a late payment fee or even refuse to provide you a service until the account has been settled.

Cancellations for scheduled dog walks/doggy day adventures require 24 hours notice, if cancellation is made after 24 hours, on the day of the booking or if follow your paws arrives at your home for your scheduled service you will be charged in full.

If you have a booking for Dog sitting 48 hours notice is required.
A non refundable £50 deposit will be taken on acceptance of the request with Follow your paws if the bill exceeds £80. The remaining balance is due at the end of the service.

If cancelling less than 48 hours prior to the first visit of your scheduled service 50% of the fee is applied as a cancellation charge.
If you forget to cancel and your sitter arrives at your home, the full price of the service will be charged for that day and a 50% charge will apply for the remainder of your booking.

Any visits cancelled on the day of service will be charged in full.

If you cancel any part of your reservation such as ending the booking early, you are responsible for the entire initial reservation fee.
No refunds or credits will be issued

Emergency contact details and veterinary details are obtained when we first meet, These will be used in the case of any emergency or illness of any pet, you will be contacted immediately, if the given first emergency contact can’t be reached we then contact your second chosen emergency contact.


Follow your paws are First Aid Trained. Certificates can be viewed on request.

Yes we do, although a charge is applied to Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day and Bank Holidays.

No. Most clients are comfortable sharing a set of keys with Follow your Paws to enable us to collect and drop off your dog even if you are not home

This can discussed in the initial consultation, each dog will be considered separately but we reserve the right to refuse any dog

No. It is Follow your paws policy to never take a bitch which is in season.

We take each dog on its own merit and not on reputation of particular breeds.

We meet all dogs before we walk them and each new dog is subject to a trial period.

Any instances of aggressive behaviour will be investigated and we reserve the right to refuse to walk any dog.

Your key will be kept secure and away from personal information and no key can be identified to any property. In the event of your key being lost or stolen we will advise you immediately.

Your personal information will never be sold or discussed with any 3rd parties in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

We have fully insured vehicles which have dog guards/seatbelts and Cages.

We still walk, we just get Wet and mucky.  We will clean and dry your dog off as much as possible but please understand we do not have time to wash your dogs, this is a separate service.

We do ask that you leave out a towel for when your dog is returned.

We will only let dogs off a lead when we have written/signed consent. If your dog is a little bit rusty on their recall then we can keep them on a long lead allowing them to run and play safely.

Follow your paws are happy to administer medication for your pet(s), in accordance with your written instructions and signed consent.
